Asante Kotoko: Otumfour appoints Interim Management Committee to run club

In preparation for the 2023–2024 Ghana Premier League season, the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, has established an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the day-to-day operations of Asante Kotoko.

The former Management Committee of the team has been dissolved due to their terms coming to an end, which has led to the appointment of the Interim Management Committee (IMC).

As a result of the interim appointments, Prosper Ogum Narteh will be returning to the club for a second term. His first season with the team, which took place during the 2021/22 season, was a very successful one.

James Akwasi Appiah, a former head coach for Ghana, is one of the other members of the IMC. Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, who will serve as the Administrative Manager of the club, and Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah are other members of the IMC.

Ahead of the start of the new season, it is the responsibility of the Interim Committee to satisfy the statutory requirements of the Premier League.
