I’ll be exonerated after the investigation – Cecilia Dapaah speaks after resignation

Sanitation Minister Cecilia Dapaah has stated that she will be vindicated following the investigation into the cash that was held at her residence, and she is confident that this will be the case.

As a result of the incident, she tendered her resignation.

“I want to cooperate fully with any and all governmental agencies in order to provide them with the means to thoroughly determine the truth.

“I have no doubt that at the end of the processes, it will be established that I have conducted myself with integrity during my period in public service, and I will be fully exonerated from all of the allegations,” she said in a statement on Saturday, July 22. “I have no doubt that I will be fully exonerated from all of the allegations,” she said.

There are rumours that Madam Cecilia Dapaah had a stash of cash at her residence that included $1 million, €300,000, and millions of Ghana Cedis that were not made public.

Two housemaids are currently on trial in an Accra circuit court for the theft of the aforementioned funds, which they are said to have taken.
