Ghanaians want NDC to save them from the current hardship, high living cost – Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the party that Ghanaians are looking up to in the hope that it will win the general elections in 2024.

Mahama stated that the people are no longer able to bear their current predicaments as a result of the Akufo-Addo administration’s mismanagement of the economy.

Mr. Mahama, who is running for the position of flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, stated that “Ghanaians are looking up to us, the NDC, to win power and save them from their present predicament of hardship, high living costs, and a lack of critical infrastructure in their communities, among other things.”

Mr. Mahama is currently running for the position of flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress.

Mahama also stated that the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only party that is afraid of him out of the four people who are running for the position of NDC flagbearer.

In the upcoming NDC primaries, Mr. Mahama will face competition from the likes of former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) boss Kojo Bonsu, and a businessman named Mr. Ernest Kobea.

On the other hand, he asserted in front of a crowd in Wenchi on the 12th of March that he is the most qualified individual to lead the NDC as its flagbearer in 2024.

Mahama stated that God would grant victory to the NDC.

Mahama pleaded with the party’s delegates to choose him as their candidate for the position of flagbearer.

“I am certain that God will grant us success in this endeavor. Let’s cast a huge number of votes for the NDC and rally behind one candidate. According to the NPP’s candidate for president in 2020, “all four aspirants, the NPP, are not afraid of anyone except one; they are afraid of Mahama.”
