The effort by Manchester United to acquire Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder for Juventus who is now playing for France, was unsuccessful.

United planned to strengthen their midfield by adding the 27-year-old player to their roster through a transfer.

They and Juventus had previously settled on a price, but it is thought that Rabiot’s wage demands were the sticking point due to the large discrepancy between United’s readiness to pay them and United’s demands. The price had already been agreed upon.

It has been stated that United offered Rabiot a position as one of their higher-paid staff and he has declined the offer.

Rabiot, who signed with Juventus as a free agent in the summer of 2019 and has one year left on his contract with them, may still be the topic of a deal, but United is currently examining their other alternatives. Rabiot signed with Juventus as a free agent in the summer of 2019.

They continue to have faith in Barcelona and the Netherlands’ international midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

The 25-year-old player is Erik ten Hag’s preferred pick, despite the fact that he would want to remain at the Nou Camp.
