The district assembly has unanimously approved Stephen Baidoo as the president’s choice for Sefwi Bodi’s District Chief Executive (DCE) in the Western North Region.
His appointment was overwhelmingly approved by all 16 assembly members.
Mr. Baidoo was commended for his unwavering devotion to the district’s development and his longstanding commitment to community service during the confirmation ceremony, which was held at the Church of Pentecost auditorium in Bodi.
Following the confirmation, Mr. Baidoo conveyed his profound appreciation for the community’s and assembly members’ unwavering confidence and support. He gave everyone his word that the district’s healthcare system would be improved and agriculture would be advanced during his term.
He remarked, “The trust you have shown me today has deeply humbled me.” “My administration would increase access to high-quality healthcare and give farmers’ demands top priority. As a team, we will strive to elevate Sehwi Bodi.
In order to guarantee inclusive and sustainable development in every community in the district, the new DCE also promised to collaborate closely with assembly employees and regional stakeholders.
Attending the ceremony, Wilbert Petty Brentum, the Western North Regional Minister, stated his unwavering support for Mr. Baidoo’s leadership. Since illicit mining operations continue to pose environmental and social problems in the area, he encouraged him to take decisive action against them.
The Minister said, “I have no doubt that Mr. Baidoo will support the President’s vision and the goals of the people of Sehwi Bodi.”
