No industrialisation, no 24-hour economy – Cheddar

Leader of the political movement The New Force has presented substitutes for a 24-hour economic policy.

According to Nana Kwame Bediako, industrialization is the only realistic road towards success.

Speaking on Sunday, September 1, Bediako aimed his attack on the proposed work shift strategy of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), implying it would be useless without a major emphasis on industrialization. Ahead of the 2024 elections.

“The only thing that could provide you three distinct shifts—eight hours times three a day—jobs is a machine, a plant. I refer to that as a 24-hour economy, Bediako said. He underlined that a round-the-clock economy cannot be attained by just increasing working hours for conventional market sellers; industrialization is necessary.

“Who in Makola sells garri for twenty-four hours? The ladies of Kejetia and Kantamanto cannot labor twenty-four hours straight. It will necessitate a plant, a factory, a manufacturing line to provide three shifts daily. No industrialization, no 24-hour economy, he said.

As he is fondly known, Cheddar said that a 24-hour economy is improbable without the building of factories and manufacturing lines.

Emphasizing his dedication to industrialization as the cornerstone for Ghana’s economic growth, he said, “I have brought you your economic freedom with all this potential,” at closing.

The posture of the New Force leader contrasts sharply with the NDC’s strategy, putting industrialization as the means of releasing Ghana’s economic potential and generating sustainable employment front and front.

Leader of the political movement also revealed a bold scheme to maximize the economic potential of every Ghanaian area.
