Qatar 2022: 55 Man Provisional Squad for Black Stars Finally Out.

Black Stars coach Otto Addo has finally released the provisional squad of the black stars ahead of the World cup.

In preparation for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar, Ghana's head coach Otto Addo has finally unveiled his provisional squad of 55 players.

The delay in revealing the squad list drew criticism from the general public in Ghana, which ultimately led to the decision to release the list.

Andre Ayew, who also serves as the team's captain, along with Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Salisu, and Jordan Ayew are just some of the notable players on the squad.

The list also includes three Ghanaian-based players: Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Denis Korsah, all of the Hearts of Oak, and Danlad Ibrahim, of Kotoko. All three of these players are currently active in the Ghana Premier League.

Ibrahim Imoro, who once played for Kotoko, has also been included in the squad.

For the biggest football Mundial of the year, which is slated to take place in November and December of this year in Qatar, the provisional squad of 55 players will be cut down to a final team of 26 players. The tournament will feature 32 countries competing for the coveted prize.

In this competition, Ghana is placed in Group H and will compete against the likes of Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
