NPP 2024: Ken. Agyapong reveals the deserving flagbearer; check it out

The Member of Parliament for the governing New Patriotic Party’s Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has stated that fellow flag bearer aspirant Alan Kyerematen is deserving of the slot as a result of his efforts for the party.

Mr. Agyapong was quoted as saying on Sompa FM in the Kumasi metropolitan area that Mr. Kyerematen deserves to be the party’s flag bearer since he has paid his dues to the party.

According to him, if people are claiming that Dr. Bawumia deserves to be the flag bearer because he has been the vice president twice, then Mr. Kyerematen is even more deserving of the privilege of being the flag bearer than Dr. Bawumia is.

Mr. Agyapong made the observation that, “Yes, if Alan says it is his turn, he deserves it because he has been in the trenches with the party from its inception as the president of the Young Executives Forum (YEF), which was the financial wing of the NPP in the early days.”

He pondered, “Where were all these small boys who have been insulting Alan when he was in the trenches working for the NPP?” as he asked this question.
