Neeru Bajwa Biography
Neeru Bajwa is a Canadian actress, director, and producer who has primarily worked in Punjabi and Hindi films. She has also appeared in a few films in other Indian languages. Both of these languages have been used in her previous work.
Neeru Bajwa made her Bollywood debut in the 1998 film Main Solah Baras Ki, which was directed by Dev Anand and marked the beginning of her career in Bollywood. After that, she moved on to work in Hindi soap operas and Punjabi films, both of which were in the language of Punjabi.
Acting Career
Bajwa began her career in the Indian soap opera business in 2005 with the serial Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi, which was shown on DD1. After that, she went on to star in Astitva. After that, Jeet would run on Star Plus, and then Guns N’ Roses would air on STAR One as the closing show of the night. Ek Prem Kahani would air first on Zee TV.
In January of 2013, Bajwa had a cameo appearance in the Punjabi movie Saadi Love Story, which starred a number of other Punjabi cinema stars. Surveen Chawla, Amrinder Gill, and Diljit Dosanjh appeared in the movie, which was produced by Jimmy Sheirgill Productions and directed by Dheeraj Rattan.
Jimmy Sheirgill Productions was also the film’s producer. In the movie, Bajwa had a part that was more supporting. She collaborated with Diljit Dosanjh once more on the film Jatt and Juliet 2, which broke all of the previous opening day collection records for Punjabi cinema.
The film was a huge financial success. The movie was a smashing success at the box office. She had an appearance alongside Binnu Dhillon, Arya Babbar, and Roshan Prince in the film Naughty Jatts, which was released in August of 2013, and she is credited for that role. The film was met with mixed reviews from critics, who all had their own unique perspectives.
The Punjabi film Sargi was Bajwa’s first attempt at directing, and it was released in 2017. One of the most important roles in the film is played by her sister, Rubina Bajwa, along with Jassi Gill and Babbal Rai. Her production company, which she also owns and operates, is known by the name Neeru Bajwa Entertainment.
It was revealed in November 2019 that Bajwa will be starring in and producing the film Beautiful Boy, in which her sister Rubina Bajwa will also act. The announcement was made in November 2019. November 2019 marked the beginning of production on the film. Since April 2021, Bajwa has been the host of Jazba, a Punjabi chat show that is broadcast on Radio One.
Family
Neeru Bajwa was conceived at the houses of his parents, Jaswant Bajwa and Surinder Bajwa, in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and was consequently born in that location. The Bajwa family is rounded out by the presence of a brother named Suhail as well as two sisters named Rubina, who is an actress, and Sabrina, who is a fashion designer.
Neeru Bajwa, the subject of the documentary Bollywood Bound, admits that she did not complete high school because she was disinterested in academics. Instead, she moved to Mumbai in order to pursue her dreams of being a Bollywood star.
Husband
Bajwa tied the knot with Harry Jawandha on February 8th, 2015. In August of 2015, the couple welcomed a baby girl into the world. In the year 2020, Bajwa will be blessed with a set of identical twin girls.
