The National Service Secretariat has initiated the necessary steps to increase the allowance for its personnel. This decision was revealed by the Executive Director, Osei Assibey Antwi, on Joy news.
According to the Director, a proposal that seeks to increase the allowance of service personnel has been approved by the board of the Secretariat. He confirmed that the proposal had been sent to the Ministry of Education.

He continued that the proposal is waiting for approval from the Ministry of Education. This decision is in line with complaints from service personnel who claim the constant rise in the cost of living has taken a toll on them.
The personnel allowance, which was increased from GH350 to GH559 in 2017, is due to an increment considering the current economic hardship. The percentage of the amount to be increased is not revealed. 2rvisionnews.com will update its audience as long as any decisions are made on this.
