Asante Kotoko will fight new participant Nsoatreman FC on the first day of the season of the Ghana Premier League while Hearts of Oak play Aduana Stars. After the Ghana Football Association sent out the schedule for the upcoming Ghana Premier League, this was found out.
Champions Asante Kotoko will open their title defense against newbies Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, The Porcupine Warriors brought home the title last season and are supposed to strongly begin the new season.
Having gotten promotion toward the end of last season, Nsoatreman will savor an upset against Kotoko in their very first premier league match.
Hearts of Oak will confront previous heroes, Aduana Stars, in Dormaa.
The Phobians began last season with a home draw and wound up failing to defend the title they won in 2020/21. They will endeavor to right their wrongs this time.
Clearly, the match between Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars is the headliner on matchday one, but other captivating matches to watch include Real Tamale United versus FC Samartex, Legon Cities hosting Medeama, and Great Olympics locking horns with last season’s FA Cup finalist Bechem United.
