Trevor J. Megill, an American pitcher who was born on December 5, 1993, currently works for the Minnesota Twins, a team that competes in Major League Baseball (MLB). He most recently played for the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball. The San Diego Padres selected him after he had been available since the seventh round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.
Megill’s high school was Marina, and it was located in Huntington Beach, California. He did not complete his secondary schooling at Bixby Charter Institution and transferred to another school instead. After finishing high school, he avoided getting conscripted by enrolling at Loyola Marymount University instead of serving in the military.
Following Tommy John’s surgery, Megill was unable to participate in his junior season of baseball. However, after being selected by the St.
Louis Cardinals with the 104th overall choice in the third round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, he decided against signing with the team and instead went back to school.
