John Pesuto Biography

John Pesutto is a well-known figure in the political world. He was elected to represent the Liberal Party in the Victorian Legislative Assembly in November 2014 and held the Hawthorn seat until November 2018. His tenure spanned the period from November 2014 until November 2018.

John Roskam, a candidate for the Institute of Public Affairs, was defeated by Pesutto, who went on to win the election for Liberal representative for Hawthorn. In the shadow ministry led by Matthew Guy, he was in charge of serving as the shadow attorney general.

Pesutto focused his private legal practice on labor and employment law, while in his consulting work he advised public-sector companies and government agencies on governance and performance issues. Pesutto’s legal work was mostly in the area of labor and employment law.

Pesutto accepted an honorary position in the school of government at the University of Melbourne after losing his seat in the 2018 Victorian state election.

Pesutto also founded his own consulting business, called Hugo Benice Advisory, which provided legal services in addition to advice on media, government, and competition.
