The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) placed Janik as high as world No. 9 on November 1, 2021, and as high as world No. 124 in doubles on September 1, 2021. Janik reached his highest singles ranking on November 1, 2021.

 

By winning the 2020 Sofia Open, Sinner became the youngest player to hold an ATP title since 2008 and the youngest player to have five championships since Novak Djokovic in 2007.

Sinner has won five titles in singles competition and one title in doubles competition. After winning the 2021 Citi Open, he made history by becoming the youngest player ever to win an ATP 500 tournament.
