She was 66 years old at the time of her death. Jake Robert Owens, Avie’s father and a Pentecostal preacher, was born on July 25, 1899, in the city of Haywood in the state of North Carolina. He passed away on May 13, 1992, in Sevierville, which is located in Sevier County, Tennessee, in the United States.

Avie Lee Owens got married to Robert Lee Parton. 1939 was the year when the couple tied the knot. They ended up having a total of 12 children, including a set of twins. They had six sons in addition to their six daughters.

On the same day, November 19, 2000, Avie’s husband, Robert Lee Parton, who had reached the age of 79, also passed away. At the Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee, Robert Lee Parton passed away from several complications brought on by one or more strokes.
