Hanspeter Sinner: Who is Jannik Sinner’s Father?

On August 16, 2001, in San Candido, Italy, Jannik Sinner, an Italian professional tennis player, was born to Hanspeter and Siglinde Sinner. His father is also a tennis player, Hanspeter Sinner, and his mother is Siglinde Sinner.

Hanspeter Sinner: Who is Jannik Sinner’s Father?

The Italian was born on August 16, 2001, in San Candido, Italy, and he first picked up a tennis racquet when he was seven years old.

Hanspeter Sinner, the young tennis player’s father, is employed as a chef in the town of Val Pusteria, which is located in Italy. He was an employee at the restaurant owned by Fiscalina Sesto-Val-Talschlusshutte. They had held jobs at a ski lodge in the community of Sexten, which is where their children were raised.

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) placed Janik as high as world No. 9 on November 1, 2021, and as high as world No. 124 in doubles on September 1, 2021. Janik reached his highest singles ranking on November 1, 2021.

 

By winning the 2020 Sofia Open, Sinner became the youngest player to hold an ATP title since 2008 and the youngest player to have five championships since Novak Djokovic in 2007.

Sinner has won five titles in singles competition and one title in doubles competition. After winning the 2021 Citi Open, he made history by becoming the youngest player ever to win an ATP 500 tournament.
