Ghana vs Uruguay: Kick Off Time, Team News, Head-to-Head, Line Ups, Predictions, Stats
Since Portugal is already through to the round of 16, there is just one spot available for the remaining three teams in the group. The victory that Ghana achieved in their most recent match against South Korea should have them feeling confident.
The Ghanaians had some difficulty maintaining control of the game early on, but Jordan Ayew had a strong performance. Mohammed Salisu scored the first goal for them, and he was followed by another goal scored by Mohammed Kudus. He gave more venom to their assault, which helped them score.
In the second half, the Korean squad staged a spirited comeback, highlighted by two goals scored by Cho Gue-sung. Kudus managed to put his side in the lead, and despite the close call, they were able to pull out the victory. In the World Cup 2022, the next matchup for Ghana will be against Uruguay.
In their first match of the tournament, Uruguay and South Korea battled to a scoreless draw. However, in their most recent match, Uruguay was defeated by Portugal by a score of 2-0. They will only be able to advance to the next round if they are victorious over the African squad in this match. Furthermore, Uruguay will need to pray that South Korea does not win their match against Portugal.
Kick Off time is 8:30 p.m. (IST), which is 3 p.m.

Players to Watch
Ghana: Mohammed Kudus
If Ghana is going to come out on top, Kudus will most certainly play an important part once more. He is the first player in the history of the Black Stars to ever score twice in a single World Cup match, and if he were to score one more goal during the competition, he would tie Gyan’s record of three goals scored by Ghana in a single edition of the World Cup.
Uruguay: Rodrigo Bentacur
In this match, Rodrigo Bentancur has a chance to come out on top of the midfield duel. In his encounter against Portugal, Bentancur won control of the ball 19 times, making him the first player to do so in a World Cup match in its entirety since Mauro Silva of Brazil did it in 1994 against the United States.
As this is a match that is extremely important for both teams, there are no serious injuries that either squad is worried about, and it is anticipated that they will compete with their full complement of players.

Probable Line Ups
Ghana’s Probable starting XI (4-2-3-1). Ati-Zigi; Lamptey, Amartey, Salisu, and Mensah; Partey and Abdul Samed; Kudus, A. Ayesw, and J. Ayew; Williams.
Uruguay Probable Starting XI (3-5-2): Rochet; Giminez, Coates, Godin; Varela, De Arrascaeta, Valverde, Bentanur, Nunez; Suarez, Cavani
Uruguay is in a situation in which they have no choice but to go for it.The only thing that will do is a triumph, and even then it might not be enough.
In the hope of clinching the victory, the South American team may put all of their eggs in the basket of Darwin Nunez, Luis Suarez, and Edinson Cavani. It’s possible that Ghana won’t be able to handle so much firepower, especially because their defense hasn’t shown much promise yet.
Having said that, Jordan Ayew is currently in the prime of his career in terms of producing plays, and he will be hoping to take advantage of the openings that will be created as a consequence of Uruguay’s aggressive approach. Uruguay should be able to get the job done despite the possibility of scoring goals.
Prediction: Ghana 1, Uruguay 2.
