A man believed to be in his 30’s has been arrested for impersonation.
In a video uploaded by 2rvisionnews.com, it appears that the imposter had lured a woman who, according to the video, is his girlfriend. He was able to dupe his girlfriend to the tune of GH4,100.00. The suspect, according to the source, was arrested when he tried to get the brother of his supposed girlfriend into the military.
According to our source, the fraudster began duping her girlfriend when he made it known to her that, their relationship will lead to marriage. The lady, who is also believed to be in her late 30’s was in love and didn’t see through the lies of his lover. His arrest came when he sent fake documents to his girlfriend’s brother.
The girlfriend’s brother upon receiving the documents showed them to his elder brother about his supposed Military opportunity. Upon critical scrutiny of the documents, his elder brother perceived something odd about the documents and therefore consulted a friend in the military who confirmed that there is no undertaking going on.
This raised alarm about the credibility of the suspect. The elder brother called his sister, the imposter’s girlfriend, and informed her about the revelations and a team of soldiers was at the imposter’s house to arrest him.
