Reeve Musk FRS (born June 28, 1971) is a business magnate and investor. He is the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer of SpaceX; a private investor, CEO, and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc.; the founder and CEO of The Boring Company; and a co-benefactor of Neuralink and OpenAI.

According to both the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and Forbes, Musk will be the world’s richest man on July 25, 2022, with an estimated total net worth of $242 billion.

Musk was born in Pretoria, South Africa, where he subsequently grew up. He briefly attended the University of Pretoria before immigrating to Canada at the age of 17, acquiring Canadian citizenship through his mother.

He enrolled at Queen’s University for two years before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Physics.

He traveled to California in 1995 to attend Stanford University, but instead pursued a business career, co-founding the online software company Zip2 with his brother Kimbal.

In 1999, Compaq purchased the firm for $307 million. Musk helped build the online bank X.com in 1999, which merged with Confinity in 2000 to form PayPal. eBay acquired PayPal for $1.5 billion in 2002.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, sealed a $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter less than three months ago. He declared that the group have “huge potential.”

From that moment forward, Mr. Musk’s worldview has changed. He attacked Twitter’s senior executives. He sent tweets mocking the board of directors.

He complained that the social media administration had too many spam records and he was unaware of the problem. He tweeted a feces emoji to express his dissatisfaction. Friday, Mr. Musk also sought to withdraw totally from the procurement.
