Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s First Teaser Is Released

Saturday was a terrific day for Comic-Con attendees thanks to the first trailer for Black Panther 2 As the audience was led back to Wakanda, it was a powerful and emotional teaser. I experienced the feelings; the tensions were palpable, and I mourned the death of the King.

There were no spoken words, but it doesn’t change the fact that we were preparing for an emotional journey. Ryan Coogler’s 2019 film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster. The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Picture and became a cultural landmark. While Chadwick Boseman, the hero of Black Panther, was still alive, the sequel was being written.

But despite the fact that he passed away in 2020 from colon cancer, the movie is still being made in Boseman’s honor. Coogler thought back on bringing the first Panther movie footage to Comic-Con in 2017. Boseman, who hadn’t yet watched the tape, was seated next to him. The actor excitedly reached forward and gripped the director’s shoulder.

He had really large hands. He filled out the outfit so effectively in part because of it. He has incredible strength. As the footage continued, he started to get animated. And the whole time, he was just pressing down on my shoulder, “said Coogler.

My arm was too weak for me. And throughout the remainder of that day and the next several hours, I felt his touch. And I’m here with you all. I can assure you that I now feel his touch on me. Although Chad is no longer physically here, his passion, brilliance, pride, culture, and the influence he had on this profession will go on forever, according to Coogler.

The cast members of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, and Lupita Nyongo. Tenoch Huerta, a rookie at Marvel, will play Namor in it as well. Additionally, Riri Williams, the youthful genius and future Ironheart will be introduced.

The role is played by Domnique Thorne, who will also star in her own Disney+ series. On November 11, 2022, Wakanda Forever is scheduled to open in cinemas.
