CONFIRMED: La Liga has APPROVED FC Barcelona’s viability plan, Messi’s return now possible

La Liga has approved the Barcelona financial feasibility plan, according to a report by Gerard Romero. After a number of weeks of delaying the decision, the league has determined that they will eventually respond to the club with a verdict.

The Catalans are now able to begin the process of opening their transfer window, which will begin with the public announcement of players who have already been signed, such as Inigo Martinez. The defensive player currently playing for Athletic Club will be joining Barcelona on a free transfer.

This also means Barcelona can officially sign Lionel Messi, who has been between Al-Hilal, Inter Miami, and the blaugranes over the last few weeks. The Argentine prefers Barcelona but wanted to make a decision quickly.

Leo will also join Barcelona on a Bosman move, having played his last game for PSG already.

They are also looking to make a bid for Ilkay Gundogan, who is of German nationality. The Manchester City midfielder has been offered a three-year deal by the Catalans and is leaning towards an exit.

Apart from the incoming transfers, Barcelona will also have to deal with the exits this summer. There is a possibility that Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres will be among the first players to depart the team. Franck Kessie, Eric Garcia, and Pablo Torre are all in danger of being released.

While the plan has been approved, Barcelona will have to follow it to a T to make sure all signings are registered. They had problems registering their players during the most recent numerous windows, which resulted in players like Jules Kounde and Franck Kessie having to deal with the consequences.
