The event took place at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State.

The record for the longest amount of time spent cooking is currently held by Lata Tondon, who accomplished the challenge in Rewa, India, in 2019 in a time of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds. Hilda Baci is very close to breaking this record.

As of the time that this report was written, the cook had already logged more than 69 hours of work in the kitchen.

On April 2nd, Hilda posted on Instagram that she was going to make the goal that she had been working toward for the past five years a reality. As a message of encouragement and support for the cook, “We’re rooting for you, Hilda.” The governor of the state of Lago, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who made an appearance at the location to meet with Baci, was another name on the list of her supporters. On Sunday, he informed his followers of this information via his Twitter page.
