With her breakthrough hit song “Water,” Tyla of South Africa wins her first-ever Grammy for Best African Performance.

The singer’s “Water” was up against songs by Nigerian singers Davido (“Unavailable”), Asake (“Amapiano”), Burna Boy (“City Boys”), and Ayra Starr (“Rush”) for the Grammy for Best African Music Performance.

The 22-year-old received the honor, which was given out at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles during the Grammy honor Premiere Ceremony.
