Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng claimed that he had lately visited and returned to Ghana as planned.
However, he remarked that upon his return, false narratives emerged, claiming that he had been imprisoned in connection with the National Cathedral incident.
Who am I running away from? I am a law abiding citizen. I have not taken anything from the state or anyone. When you hear such things, simply disregard them.
I was summoned for questioning, and after the meeting, I learnt that I had been detained. The narrative even claimed that I was fleeing Ghana and had now been arrested. What type of generation is this?
Kusi reassures followers to stay focused.
Rev. Kusi Boateng told his followers that he stays focused and undistracted by the claims, claiming that divine grace will carry him through any difficulties.
He urged his congregation to dismiss erroneous claims, assuring them that he had done nothing wrong.
I’m not going to let this distract me. We are in a better year, grace has been activated, and no matter what the devil throws at us, the Lord will get us through.
Kusi feels he has not stolen from the state and hopes to be cleared soon, by God’s help.
