NPP JABBED OVER LIES ABOUT FOOD AND JOBS PLANTING

So far as planting for food and jobs policy is concerned, the NDC communicator and cum assembly member for Akaasu electoral area and communication officer hopeful, Hon. Daniel Addae Kaakyire has tagged the NPP as political liars.

Speaking with AkuapemHann, he noted that the policy is not aimed at providing an abundance of food but to subsidize fertilizer for farmers to increase their production.

He said farmers cannot buy the fertilizer due to the cost, and those who can afford it are not getting it at the approved stores because no fertilizer has been released this year, so they have recommended that the assembly find a way to provide organic fertilizer for farmers.

According to Kaakyire, plantain and cassava are not part of the PFFJ policy; it’s about cereals, such as maize, rice, and the like.

On the other hand, he pleaded with his party(NDC) leadership to be free and fair in their internal elections, which come off in October, beseeching them to be open and should not disenfranchise anybody.

As he’s vying for the position of communication officer in the constituency, he prayed delegates to vote for him as he is capable of steering the affairs of the party’s communication with his experience, saying he knows the political dynamics of both NPP and NDC.

“I believe it is time the party allowed me to lead in terms of communication,” he said.
