Nogokpo chiefs have threatened to reveal the founder and leader of the Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the one who wields cosmic power.
During a news conference held on Friday, June 2, the chiefs issued an ultimatum to Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, giving him 14 days to appear before them to address a dispute that arose as a result of some statements that he made.
During a supernatural summit that was held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the headquarters of Perez Chapel in Accra, Archbishop Agyinasare caused a stir when he preached about divine protection and the existence of evil forces casting insinuations against Nogokpo, a deity named after a town in the Volta Region. His sermon caused a stir because he made insinuations against Nogokpo.
He then elaborated on his sentiments, saying that he did not intend for his words to be taken as an insult to the Nogokpo people.
The residents of the community have shown that they have not taken his remarks lightly at all.
Nogokpo chiefs warn Agyinasare
Nufialaga Mawufemor Korbla Nonyigbey, the convener of the community, was a guest on the Eyewitness News program on Citi FM. He stated that the Archbishop did not apologize for his acts, which is the reason why the summons was issued.
According to him, the leader of the Perez Church International not only disparaged the people who lived in the community but also treated them with disrespect.
“It wasn’t an apology, and if you listen to what Archbishop Agyinasare stated on Sunday, you’ll understand why. It seemed more like he came to excuse it, and that’s when we realized that he was taking us for granted in the situation.
Or perhaps he believes that there is nothing we can accomplish. This is a very disrespectful act; he insulted his in-laws and stared into the eyes of his wife as he was doing it, and he degraded his wife.
“No amount of grammar or English can change what he said, and we were expecting him to come out with a true apology rather than for him to come and start speaking grammar to us.” No amount of grammar or English can change what he said.”
We have given him the ultimatum of 14 days, during which he may either come and perform what is required of him or refuse to comply with our demands. He has the option to decline, in which case we will discover who the masters of cosmic power really are. He threatened to make him the scapegoat if he didn’t accomplish what needed to be done.
“What he said has cast a dark shadow on Nogokpo and the Volta region, especially with the youth who are struggling to seek jobs and our women who are planning to get married; what he said will affect them psychologically by any means,” he added.
