Nelly Cheboi Biography
Nelly Cheboi, often known as Kosi, is the chief executive officer and founder of TechLit Africa. This organization works to create and grow a continent that is more technologically literate. It was in the month of April 2020 that she launched Pushupbot in the city of Chicago.

These laboratories were used to teach younger Kenyans about fields that had not been investigated before.
Her selection as one of this year’s Top 10 CNN Heroes was announced at the 16th Annual CNN Heroes event, which was hosted by Anderson Cooper and Kelly Ripa and broadcast live from New York City on December 11 night.

Nelly Cheboi Career
The conditions that Nelly was born into were pretty difficult. Due to the circumstances that befell their family, Nelly was compelled to assume responsibility for her younger sister’s upbringing when she was a young child herself, just nine years old.
Nelly decided to create a computer lab in 2019 after quitting her job as a member of the military in 2019 because she wanted to change the narrative about children who grow up in locations that are similar to where she did. She received her diploma from Maryhill Girls High School, where she studied and graduated.
Because she was awarded a scholarship, she was able to attend Augustana College in Illinois, which did not require her to pay any tuition. During her junior year, she took a programming class to meet one of the requirements for the math degree she was trying to get.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Augustana College in 2016. Both of these degrees were earned in 2016.
Between November 2015 and June 2016, she worked at Augustana College in a variety of capacities, including as an admissions ambassador, a career ambassador, and a student tutor. Her prior work experience was mostly in the fields of hardware and installation.
While she was employed by New World Van Lines in the Greater Chicago Area during that time period, she obtained skills in the fields of software engineering and business analysis.
Nelly started working at ShipBob, Inc. as a software engineer in January of 2018 and stayed there till April of 2019.
