Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Communications Director for the 2024 Bawumia Campaign, has accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of seizing power without a clear plan or strategy for governing the country.
In an interview with Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Aboagye stated that the NDC’s campaign was based on promises intended solely to undermine the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and incite public hatred, rather than offering viable solutions to Ghana’s problems.
“The NDC now contradicts itself. “What they said before the elections does not correspond to what they are doing in government,” he remarked.
“They arrived to power with no plan or strategy, simply promises designed to make Ghanaians despise the NPP.” The reality is dawning on them.”
He also noted that crucial areas of the economy are faltering, citing the performance of ministries like Lands and Energy.
“They made numerous promises in their manifesto. Coming back now to explain that the situation is worse than predicted simply adds to the country’s worry,” he said.
