Mohammed Kudus wins second Footballer of the Year at 2024 Ghana Football Awards

Mohammed Kudus has won the esteemed Footballer of the Year award for the second time in a row at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards.

The West Ham United midfielder won the prize once more, defeating rivals Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Osman Bukarai, and Inaki Williams.

Mohammed Kudus brilliant Season for West Ham

Kudus had an incredible rookie campaign at West Ham United, making 45 games while tallying 14 goals and six assists. He scored five goals during his incredible efforts, which also helped lead the Hammers to the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals.

The 23-year-old has also been a vital member of the Black Stars, making waves in the Ivory Coast-hosted 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Despite the team’s early elimination, Kudus made a significant impact by scoring twice during the tournament.
