Michael Aidoo: The Right Choice for Western North’s Council of State Representative – Wisdom Hedidor writes

As we approach the Council of State elections, the Western North Region is at a watershed moment, one that requires visionary, experienced, and selfless leadership.

In this regard, one name stands out as the most qualified candidate to represent our beloved region: Chairman Michael Aidoo, also known as Chairman Big Aidoo.

His unwavering commitment to development, proven leadership, and strong interpersonal skills qualify him for the position.

A Leader with a Track Record of Excellence

Chairman Aidoo is not new to leadership and service. As Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western North Region, he has helped shape our region’s political scene.

Prior to the region’s formation, he served as the NDC’s Regional Chairman in the then-Western Region, where his strategic acumen and unifying leadership helped the party make tremendous progress.

Chairman Aidoo led the NDC’s stunning performance in the last general elections, capturing 8 out of 9 parliamentary seats, including the re-election of Sefwi Wiawso, Akontombra, and Bibiani Ahwiawso Bekwai constituencies in the Western North region.

His leadership also played a crucial role in His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s huge victory in the region, with more than 60% of the vote. This success demonstrates his capacity to engage people, generate agreement, and produce outcomes.

A true champion of education and youth development.

Beyond politics, Chairman Big Aidoo’s heart beats for the people, particularly the youth. He funds around 140 students each year through his scholarship program, allowing them to further their studies in professions such as law, engineering, nursing, and midwifery.

His generosity transcends political, tribal, and religious lines, making a real difference in the lives of innumerable people.

This devotion to education exemplifies his vision for the Western North Region, in which young people are equipped with information, skills, and opportunity to contribute significantly to national progress.

His leadership at the Council of State will guarantee that policies affecting education and youth development receive the attention they require.

A visionary businessman and developer.

Chairman Big Aidoo is a successful businessman as well as a political and philanthropic leader. As the Founder and Chancellor of KAAF University, he has made important contributions to Ghana’s education sector by creating a platform for academic success.

His experience as a contractor and consultant has also allowed him to champion critical infrastructure projects, enhancing the lives of people across the country.

His presence in the Council of State will provide practical insights into economic policies that promote business growth, job creation, and infrastructure development, all of which are vital to the Western North Region’s future.

Broad Support from the People.

Chairman Aidoo’s candidacy has garnered overwhelming support from Paramount Chiefs, religious leaders, and community organizations in the Western North Region.

These recognized figures acknowledge his integrity, altruism, and unrelenting commitment to the region’s development.

Their support demonstrates that Chairman Big Aidoo is the people’s choice, the leader they believe will advance their interests at the national level.

A Call to Action.

As the Council of State elections approach, the Western North Region has an excellent opportunity to elect a visionary leader, a philanthropist with a heart for the people, and a strategist with the necessary experience to make a difference.

Chairman Michael Aidoo has continuously exhibited a dedication to service, growth, and advancement.

His election to the Council of State ensures that the Western North Region has a strong, articulate, and results-oriented representation at the national level.

I urge members of the electoral college and stakeholders to rally around Chairman Big Aidoo and support his candidacy.

His leadership will benefit not only the Western North Region, but will also make significant contributions to Ghana’s governance and development agenda.

Chairman Michael Aidoo is a visionary leader, a compassionate philanthropist, and a champion for the people.
