According to a local affiliate of CNN, BFMTV, the police in Paris have apprehended a guy for jumping off the Eiffel Tower while wearing a parachute on Thursday.
According to BFMTV, which cited police sources in its story, a guy climbed a pillar of the famous landmark early in the morning local time.
The administration business of the Eiffel Tower, known as SETE (Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel), stated that the individual was located by security in “less than a minute” after entering the premises. The tower’s intervention brigade tried to dissuade him from jumping from the attraction, but their efforts were fruitless, and he went forward with the stunt anyway.
