Mahama is not making unrealistic promises – Joyce Bawah Mogtari

According to Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the John Mahama Campaign spokesperson, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not making exaggerated promises.

Conversely, she emphasized, the NDC is being cautious in its commitments.

Mrs. Mogtari stated that she had spoken with John Mahama about the significance of interacting with the underprivileged to comprehend their needs.

The Special Assistant to John Mahama also brought up problems with the present administration, including overspending and subpar housing for students.

During her Monday appearance on the JoyNews AM Show, she stated, “Let’s say we cut back on government spending alone. Go and check out the enormous sums of money that have been earned during Akufo-Addo’s tenure in office. Do you know the biggest challenge now for students on our campuses is accommodation? People are working outside of the campus who pay less than the students. If I show you my phone you will be amazed.

“There are still some amazing individuals in Ghana, and I think Mr. Mahama is being measured.”

She said that despite Dr. Bawumia’s campaigning, nothing has changed,, and teachers and nurses are still suffering.

“The foreign exchange that he campaigned on look at where it is today. The Bank of Ghana which he continues to defend has lost 50 billion. Can you imagine how much that can invest in tertiary education for our students? If we invested that in student accommodation, can you imagine what that would look like?”
