John Mahama cannot be the change Ghanaians want – Ohene Ntow

“I’ve heard the NDC claim that Mahama will bring about change. I’m not sure how the president and the previous vice president can choose the new individual they desire.

“Ghanaians should not go elsewhere for change, as Mahama and Bawumia are not new at all. “Alan is a man to trust,” he declared on Saturday, July 27, during the Key Points segment on TV3.

He was responding to Professor Titus Beyuo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate in Lambussie and a former general secretary of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), who had stated that Ghanaians were hoping for change in the upcoming election.

According to Prof. Beyuo, the public looked up to NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to turn the fortunes around.

Speaking to TV3’s Mawuena Egbeta in Tamale, where the NDC is launching their 2024 campaign on Saturday, July 27, he said: “I think what is happening here is what is happening in the country, everybody is yearning for a change, everybody’s hope is on H.E. John Mahama to turn this country on the path of prosperity.”

The NDC will be launching its 2024 general election campaign in Tamale today, Saturday, July 27.

The National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, said they will adopt a different campaign strategy this year, including a door-to-door campaign style.

The NDC has launched its campaign in other regions, so it is proper that you rotate the venue for the launch, Tamale Central lawmaker Murtala Mohammed told TV3’s Mawuena Egbeta.
