It is unfortunate for Ghana. Although Ghana has a strong team, Kwesi Appiah lamented that just one of us could advance.

“I’m happy we were able to make Sudanese people smile.”

With two points from four games, Ghana is currently in third place in Group F and faces the possibility of missing out on AFCON qualification for the first time in 20 years.

The Black Stars’ final two qualification matches against Niger and Angola will take place during the November international break.
