‘Ku me Preko’ Demo Reloaded: Thousands Hits Streets of Accra Today.

Numerous Ghanaians have crowded Accra’s streets in protest of the Ku me Preko demo reloaded. As early as 7:00 am, the demonstrators gathered at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle. Martin Kpebu, a private attorney, is organizing the protest, which is intended to draw attention to the growing economic difficulty people are facing.

The protesting residents are holding up a number of placards, some of which read, among other things: According to reports, Mr. Kpebu’s move is a replication of the significant protest Akufo-Addo organized in 1995, when the country was experiencing hardship and oppression during the late former President Jerry Rawlings’ regime.

Mr. Kpebu claims that the goal of the case is to persuade the president to step down as president since he has demonstrated his incapacity to do so. They wrote many songs demanding the resignation of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and President Akufo-Addo while dressed in red and black.

In an interview, Mr. Kpebu expressed optimism that the demonstration would have an impact, and he urged more Ghanaians to support his campaign to remove Ken Ofori-Atta as president and finance minister due to his poor handling of the country’s finances. He indicated that President Akufo-Addo would get a petition by the following week.
