Krachi East MCE found dead in a Kumasi hotel

Francis Kofi Okesu, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi East in the Oti Region, was discovered dead at a Kumasi hotel.

Following inquiries by Luv News, it was discovered that the deceased had visited the hotel late on September 2 with his driver, Sylvester Attah.

Since entering the hotel, Mr. Kofi Okesu had not been seen, and attempts to reach him had been fruitless.

The police’s Regional Incident Scene unit went on to the scene of the crime to begin its investigation into potential causes of his demise.

Police sources claim that despite conducting a search of the room, they have not yet discovered anything incriminating.

Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Abraham Antwi, the municipal chief executive of Oforikrom, and other security personnel have all visited the scene.

For preservation and an autopsy, the body has been placed in the morgue of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
