Because of his skill, he stood out among the U-15 players. At the age of 15, he was swiftly moved to United’s U-18 team, where he played an important role with players like Alejandro Garnacho and Charlie McNeil. He was a vital member of Travis Binnion’s midfield, helping Manchester United’s U18 squad win the FA Youth Cup in 2021-2022. The 17-year-old scored twice as his team advanced to the championship.

 

Due to his success, he has also made a few appearances for the U-23 team and has played for the club in the Uefa Youth League, although he has not yet been named on the senior team’s matchday roster. Although the duration of the agreement was not disclosed, Kobbie Mainoo’s first professional contract with Manchester United was announced on May 17, 2022.
