John Mahama Appeals for 10 Cedis MOMO to Support NDC’s National Delegates Congress

The former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has resorted to various social media platforms in an effort to amass financial backing for the next National Delegates Congress, which will be hosted by the National Democratic Congress on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

In a post that he wrote on his Facebook page, he made the request.

“I would want to extend an invitation to half a million willing Ghanaians, NDC supporters, sympathizers, and friends to contribute a minimum of ten Ghana cedis apiece to assist us in funding the congress. Donating to the NDC does not require you to be a member of the NDC.

“Please donate using the MoMo number 059 860 4199. You might also deposit the money into the GCB Bank account designated for the NDC Congress.

The number assigned to this account is 13-9113-00-00-837. “Please send me an email at the following address if you wish to organize additional kinds of help: [email protected],” Mr. Mahama said on the social media.

According to him, all of the executives from the different constituencies, regions, and the national level would be transferred to Accra and given accommodations there.

It is anticipated that a total of 10,936 delegates, from 276 different constituencies, would take part in all of the events, including the election of national party officials.

“Rallying for Triumph 2024: Ghana's Dream” is the subject that will be discussed at the next congress, which is scheduled to take place on December 17, 2022.
