If You Engage In Any Pre Or Extra-Marital Affairs, You Will Be Withdrawn From The Church

If you have any extramarital or premarital affairs, you will be removed from the church’s congregation.

The Church of Pentecost has established a set of guidelines for its members’ behavior. True Christians, as defined by the COP, are expected to remain celibate both prior to and after the institution of marriage. So, members of the Church who have extramarital or premarital relationships may be excommunicated or kicked out of the group.

“Chastity and faithfulness in a married relationship, both before and after the wedding, are characteristics of a genuine Christian and are thus strongly encouraged for every child of God to practice.

” Relationships that occur outside of marriage or before marriage have no place in the Church of God. “Members who are found to be involved in either type of relationship should be disciplined by being suspended or expelled from the fellowship.”

The Church warned its members not to engage in the sale of products that are detrimental to people’s physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual development, such as alcoholic beverages and cigarettes. Additionally, the church warned its members not to be dishonest in their businesses and transactions.

“Make it a priority in your company to base all of your interactions and transactions on the Bible and to conduct them in an honest and open manner (Prov. 16:8; 21:6; 22:13, 16; Jer. 17:11; 22:13).

“A genuine child of God should abstain from engaging in activities that include the sale of products that are known to be harmful to the emotional, mental, and physical health of other people, such as consuming alcoholic beverages, smoking cigarettes, or using illicit narcotics.”
