I like the black colour because I’m a ‘witch’ – Efya

Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor, better known as Efya in the entertainment industry, has stated why she is drawn to the color black.

She claimed that the color appeals to her since she is a “witch.”

Yet the singer went on to elaborate on her argument by attributing it to the type of work she performs, which is music. She claimed that she keeps herself alive at night by recording when everyone else is asleep.

She became interested in black as a result, because darkness had started to accompany her at night.

I prefer the color black because I’m a “witch,” says Efya.

“I think it combines with every other color, in my opinion. Black, in my opinion, works most of the time. The neo-soul singer added on Joy Prime, “I also like it because I’m a witch.

Also, she said that because she is constantly awake at night, she added Nokturnal to her name on her Twitter handle.

“I truly don’t sleep at night, and I haven’t in a very long time. I reasoned that since I’m a highly nocturnal being and that night is when I really come alive, I may as well make it cool. Because it’s calm, I prefer to work most of the time in the evening, the singer continued.

The singer of “Ankwadobi” responded when asked if she would wear all black to her wedding, “Yeah, it’s one of the things I’ve always wanted to do, but I’m not sure anymore. We shall see.

The “Best in Me” singer went on to say that she had always wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and work as a film director, but it never materialized.

How did Efya become a musician?

The numerous VGMA Best Female Singer of the Year claims claimed that although she had always sung in church and loved music, her music career really took off once she competed on Stars of the Future.

The singer described her struggles with having a famous mother as the daughter of Nana Adwoa Awindor, a celebrity host of the TV program “Greetings from Overseas” and a filmmaker.

“That was incredibly demanding. There was a great deal of strain. While I was in high school, I was physically assaulted because of my mother, Efya recalled.

By living with famous and accomplished parents, she gained early expertise in the creative sector, including video editing, directing, and animation.
