Ahmet Civan Canova was a Turkish actor, dramatist, and theater director. He was born on June 28, 1955, and passed away on August 20, 2022.
Canova is the child of Turkish director Mahir Canova. He is an alum of TED Ankara College (1973). He began his career as an actor by making his cinematic debut in Yılmaz Güney’s 1974 film Arkadaş. At around the same time, he signed up for the Ankara State Conservatory’s Theater Department.
Following four years of studying, he joined the group of Turkish State Theaters. Besides his acting career, both in front of an audience and before the camera, he is known for his plays.
Between 1998 and 2004, he was married to actress Açelya Akkoyun Canova, and they kept on working for the State Theatres.
He died on August 20, 2022, at the age of 67.

A mass was identified in the lung of Civan Canova preceding his death. Anyway, the official autopsy report has not been unveiled at this point.
