Good news for security guards nationwide

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has obtained a significant job opportunity for security guards across the country through a cooperation with G4S Security Services.

As part of the arrangement, 6,000 young people would be hired as security guards within a year to assist G4S operations.

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) formalised the agreement, which includes favourable terms and circumstances.

The online application gateway for interested applicants will go live on Monday, March 17, 2025, and will be accessible from all YEA official venues.

This project is expected to significantly increase youth employment in the security industry, with additional opportunities in the future.

This was given by the YEA boss, Malik Basintale, as an update on his first quarter of duty.
