The GFA has released the 2025/26 Premier League fixtures. The defending champions, Gold Stars, will start the season at home against Bechem United. The season will span from September 12, 2025, to May 2026.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the full schedule for next season’s Ghana Premier League. This year is the first time fans will be able to see all of the matches.

The 2018 season will commence with reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars defending their championship at home against Bechem United at Duns Park in Bibiani.

Hearts of Oak want to do better than they did last season, when they had a bad season. They start at home against Hohoe United, who just moved up. Kotoko, on the other hand, will start their season with a trip to Berekum Chelsea.

Other important games on the first day include former champions Medeama playing Young Apostles away and Samartex going to Vision FC. The newly promoted Swedru All Blacks and Eleven Wonders both have tough away games to open the season. They will play Nations FC and Basake Holy Stars, respectively.

Heart of Lions, who came in second last season, will host Dreams FC, and Karela United will host Aduana FC.

Super Clash set as the first game

The Super Clash between Hearts and Kotoko will happen on matchday five at the Accra Sports Stadium. The second game will be on matchday 22 in Kumasi.

Throughout the campaign, many regional rivalries will be featured. The Volta derby is back after a few years. On matchday 17, Hohoe United will host Heart of Lions, and on the last day of the season, the return leg will be played.

There are a number of Brong Ahafo derbies on the schedule, and Young Apostles will play their local rivals several times during the season.

The Western area derby between Medeama and Samartex will take place on matchday six, while the second game will take place on matchday 23.

The season starts on September 12, 2025, and ends on May 23/24, 2026. This is a great time for it to end before the World Cup in June 2026.

Most games will be on weekends; however, if a game needs to be moved, it can be played on a weekday.
