Former NDC Amenfi Central Constituency Chairman successfully Picks nomination form to contest Parliamentary seat for  Amenfi Central

Hon. Daniel Appiah, former NDC constituency chairman for Amenfi Central in the Western Region has successfully filed nomination form to contest for the parliamentary ticket for the constituency in the name of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The hard working and competent chairman has worked through the ranks of the party at the constituency and has attained the needed skills and competence to lead the constituency at the parliament.

HON. DANIEL APPIAH’S PORTFOLIO AT THE AMENFI CENTRAL CONSTITUENCY

Hon Daniel Appiah served as  the NDC Branch Organizer for Wassa Ankwaso Meth Prim branch from 2006-2010.

Hon Daniel Appiah also served as the Branch Chairman for wassa Ankwaso branch 2010- 2014.

Hon. served as the Assemblyman for Ankwaso electoral area 2010 – 2018.

He was the NDC Constituency Youth Organizer for Amenfi Central before winning the chairmanship position at Amenfi Central in the region.

Hon Daniel Appiah disclosed the motive behind his decision to contest as that of the constituent interest but not personal. Having been living in the constituency since infancy, he has seen the challenges the people go through. As a result of that, he feel it will only be prudent he contest to win and address the challenges facing the constituents.

Hon Daniel Appiah Major Areas of Concern for his Constituency

The competent Chairman has outline the following areas that he would tackle should he become the parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

  1. Employment for the jobless youth in the constituency.

Hon Daniel Appiah has identify unemployment among the youth as one of the major areas affecting the life of people in the constituency and will speed up process the find solutions to that when voted for.

2. poor road network in the constituency.

He wish to address the issue of poor or bad road network in the constituency which affect economic activities over there.

3. Inadequate water supply.

Hon Daniel Appiah would also tackle inadequate water supply in the area.

He therefore call on all delegates of the party to rally behind him and support him to solve these challenges confronting the constituents.

The competent chairman maybe contesting with the incumbent MP, Hon. Peter Yaw Kwagye Ackah who is yet to declare whether he will contest again or not. The parliamentary seat at the constituency has always been taken by the NDC since 1992.

Hon Daniel Appiah entreats all delegates to support him to turn the fortunes of the people around.
