Everton declined a £40 million offer from Chelsea for the England team Forward Anthony Gordon is under 21.

Reports indicate that Chelsea would most likely make a counteroffer that is much higher in order to try to convince Everton to sell the homegrown talent, who is now 21 years old.

Because of Everton’s history of rumored interest in two Chelsea players, Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher, there is a possibility that the two clubs may engage in a cash-plus-player loan arrangement.

Both players entered the game as substitutes in the late stages of Sunday’s contest between Chelsea and Tottenham.

It has been reported by credible sources that an agreement might be made over the next few days since there won’t be any issues about personal terms.

Due to Dominic Calvert’s injury and the purchases of Dominic Lewin and Richarlison to Tottenham, Everton has begun their opening two games of the season with Everton’s number nine position being played by Michael Gordon.
