Highly placed police sources indicate Elrad Salifu Amoako, the son of the well-known preacher, who was involved in the tragic East Legon accident, “under heavy police guard at the hospital where he is receiving treatment.”

The source says “the Police presence at the hospital is to facilitate the arrest of Elrad whose actions led to the death of two young girls on October 12 2024 in Accra once his condition improves.”

The insider said that the Police will make sure justice rules as they are aware of the great public interest in the issue.

The parents of the sixteen-year-old Prophet Salifu Amoako and Mouha Amoako and one other have been accused by the Ghana Police Service of letting an unregistered person operate.

They are scheduled to reappear before the court on October 30, 2024.

Speaking on Sunday, October 20 at Alive Chapel International, Bishop Amoako called for peace and advised the people to refrain from speculating. Declaring that the occurrence was an unfortunate accident, he voiced annoyance at the story that was told about it. “My son carried no pistol meant for killing someone. The cleric said, “He involved himself in a terrible accident; I am not the one who did it, nor his mother; hence, we should give his public figure status more importance.”

Two girls were killed and trapped in a fire caused by the sad tragedy involving a Jaguar driven by the young man. Bishop Amoako expressed confidence that the truth will come to light and begged for faith and patience as the inquiry and court processes carried forward.
