Check out How Wakaso Reacted to Atsu’s Death

Christian Atsu, one of Mubarak Wakaso’s fellow Black Stars teammates, passed away recently. This news has left Mubarak Wakaso in a state of profound grief.

Not only were they colleagues, but they were also close friends who frequently engaged in lighthearted banter and joke-telling with one another on various social media platforms.

In the wake of the news, Wakaso rushed to Twitter and delivered a statement that was both straightforward and meaningful: “Rest well.” This encapsulates the profound sense of loss that he is experiencing.

After the tragic earthquake that took place two weeks ago, Atsu’s body was discovered beneath the rubble, where she had been hiding.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well-wishers that regrettably Christian Atsu’s body was recovered this morning,” Atsu’s representative Nana Sechere revealed.

“Please accept my most sincere sympathies on behalf of his family and loved ones.” “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been praying for us and for their support.”

During this extremely trying time, I would ask that everyone be respectful of the family’s need for privacy so that we can carry out the required arrangements. Thank you.

Atsu was a player for a number of clubs across Europe, including Chelsea, FC Porto, Newcastle United, Everton, and Bournemouth, among others.

Atsu became a member of Hatayaspor in September of the previous year, and he scored his first goal for the club just hours before the natural tragedy that was responsible for the deaths of over 45,000 people.
