BECE 2022 Results Will Be Released on This Date. [Full Details]

This date will mark the release of the results of the BECE 2022.

The 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) was completed on October 21, 2022; nonetheless, candidates, parents, and other stakeholders are interested to know when WAEC will publish the results of the 2022 BECE.

The BECE results for 2022 will be made public, at which point the steps leading up to the 2022 school placement will begin. These processes will begin when the BECE results have been officially released.

The results of the BECE and any other examinations that were conducted by WAEC are typically made available 45 days following the conclusion of the last paper in the series.
WAEC is expected to announce the results of this year’s BECE on or before December 5, 2022.

This is due to the fact that the last paper for this year’s BECE was administered by WAEC on Friday, October 21st, 2022. On December 5th, 2022, the 45th day following the conclusion of the exam will have passed.

If, on the other hand, weekends are excluded from the calculation of the 45 days, then the results ought to be made public on or before December 23, 2022, at the very latest. In the event that the results are not made public by this day, the announcement can be put off until another day following the festive season.

Nevertheless, depending on the schedule that the Ministry of Education has planned for the 2023 academic year, it is a distinct possibility that the results will not be made public until the year 2023.

Due to the infamous COVID-19, WAEC has sadly not been able to maintain this standard throughout the course of the past three years. Despite the fact that the marking procedure for the 2022 BECE has already begun, junior high schools have until November 18 to provide data on schools that were picked by BECE applicants.

After the results of the BECE have been published, please take note of the following timelines.

1. WAEC is going to publish the results of the 2022 BECE.
2. Both candidates and their parents will be required to check their results using the BECE result checker card for school candidates online.
3. The Ministry of Education and the Free SHS Secretariat estimate that it will take two to three weeks to finish placing candidates in schools.
4. Both the Ministry of Education and the Free Secondary and Higher Education Secretariat will make an announcement about the release of the 2022 school placements.
5. Applicants and their parents will be required to check their school placement using a different card (the placement checker) online.
6. If you are not assigned to any of the six schools that you selected, either print out the documentation pertaining to placement or use the self-placement program.
7. The school placement forms that you print out need to be filled out and brought to the school that you have been assigned to in order to begin the enrollment process.
8. Once everything has been finished, you will need to report to school either as a day student or as a boarding student.
