Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate, and the Party’s leadership are scheduled to begin a statewide Thank You Tour on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
The National Council of the NPP has fully endorsed this tour, which aims to convey the party’s, the presidential candidate’s, and the campaign team’s sincere appreciation to the public and NPP members for their tremendous support during the 2024 election season.
With the motto “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the Thank You Tour reflects the party’s religious beliefs and recognition of divine direction during the election process.
The national event seeks to strengthen the ties between the Party’s leadership and its members as well as to show gratitude to supporters.
Christian and Islamic observances will be included in the interfaith national Thanksgiving celebrations that will wrap up the tour.
Starting on April 26 in the Western Region and ending on June 4, 2025 in the Central Region, the journey is planned to visit all sixteen regions.
It is anticipated that party supporters will congregate at regional and constituency events in each region to actively celebrate their common successes and future opportunities.
The Ashanti Region will hold a three-day program from April 29 to May 1 because of its size and political importance.
At their separate regional and constituency locations, Bawumia and the NPP leadership has urged all Party members and supporters to participate fully in the Thank You Tour.
This group show of gratitude also gives the party a chance to reconnect with the public and revitalise its base as it moves forward.
The leadership underlines that the Party’s onwards march must continue to be based on unity and gratitude.
