For the by-election that is taking place in the Assin North seat today, Tuesday, June 27, the polls have opened.
The polls opened at 7 a.m. and are not anticipated to close until 5 p.m.
The local police department has given their word that sufficient security precautions have been taken throughout the Constituency in order to guarantee safety, law, and order prior to, during, and after the election.

While the National Chairman and National organiser headed the NPP team, the National Chairman and General Secretary of the NDC delegation were in charge of leading their counterparts.
